GW4 series disconnectors shall be applied to switching of the HV transmission equipment with rated frequency 50Hz or 60Hz when no load is applied to the HV power supply line and electric isolation of the HV electric equipments, such as the HV bus, the breaker, etc. to be overhauled from the charged HV circuit.
This series of disconnector is the double-column horizontal rotating central single-break type disconnector and is composed of the base, the supporting insulator and the conductive part; and the earthing switches can be added on one side or two sides. Moreover, the main switch and the earthing switch can be applied to three-phase linked operation and split-phase operations by using the electric mechanism or the manual mechanism.
The vertical transmission rod shall drive one supporting insulator of the disconnector to rotate when the operating mechanism of the main switch runs; and the other supporting insulator shall be driven to rotate by using one set of intersected four-bar linkage structure in the base; therefore, opening and closing of the left conductive part and the right conductive part can be realized.
